SMC manhole cover is also called sheet molding plastic manhole cover. It is impregnated with chopped glass fiber by a mixture of unsaturated polyester resin, thickener, initiator, crosslinking agent, low shrinkage additive, filler, internal release agent, colorant, etc. It is a high-strength composite product formed by high-temperature and high-pressure hydraulic forming of sheet molding compound formed by a special process of roving.
SMC material is a kind of resin-based material, which has excellent electrical properties, corrosion resistance, light weight and high strength mechanical properties. my country introduced foreign advanced SMC material production lines and production techniques in the 1980s. After continuous development and technological improvement in the country, it is now maturely used in many domestic fields.
